Skin Booster Treatments

Profhilo

Profhilo has been engineered specifically for “skin bio remodelling”. It is composed from a high-grade Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and stimulates the production of your natural collagen and elastin. Due to its high purity and the absence of additives, Profhilo offers greater safety and reduced side effects.

What is this treatment specifically?

After the age of 30, our skin cells start to loose collagen, elastin and HA resulting in facial volume loss, dry skin, lines and wrinkles.  Profhilo was Awarded the Aesthetics Award for Product Innovation of the year 2022 for it's ability to treat the signs of skin ageing from the inside out (bio remodelling). It’s not a filler, but a HA gel with one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market. The release of HA stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin helping you to combat the visible signs of ageing whilst providing preventative benefits to younger patients.

Profhilo is the only product known to stimulate the growth of all four kinds of collagen and elastin, smooth out wrinkles and visibly tighten the skin, rather than simply just treating the wrinkles which already exist. Profhilo encourages the growth of elastin to prevent the formation of new wrinkles.

What is the downtime?

The downtime is very minimal. Following treatment, there may be redness and swelling, however this will usually subside within a few hours.

How many treatments will I need?

It is recommended to have two sessions initially (one month apart) to achieve optimum results. In order to maintain results, a treatment session is advised every 6-12 months.

How quickly will I see results?

Results are usually seen after two treatments. It is then that the increased firmness, elasticity and overall improved quality of the skin will be visible.

What is the Procedure?

Profhilo is injected to 5 precise points on each side of the face. By concentrating a defined volume of profhilo in the most receptive points, HA can diffuse through the skin to stimulate maximum collagen production, creating a natural, balanced refreshed result. On the body 10 injection points are used to treat the area of concern.

  • Stimulates the production of all four types of collagen and elastin in the skin
  • Improves skin tone, textures, hydration and radiance
  • Increases firmness and elasticity – for healthier, softer skin with more ‘bounce'
  • Increases facial fullness, with a subtle tightening and lifting effect.
  • Can be used on the body as well as the face to address skin laxity

Sunekos

Sunekos is an injectable treatment that encourages your skin to regenerate from the inside out, improving skin firmness and texture in as little as 4 weeks. Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, amino acids of collagen and elastin. These substances are already present in the human body. Sunekos stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin that are essential to promote youthful, bright, and firm skin.

What is this treatment specifically?

Using strategic injections, Sunekos is a treatment recommended for young skin, to slow down the ageing process and for mature skin to reduce the signs of ageing. Known as a regeneration system for dermal biogenesis, Sunekos can be targeted to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth and hydrates the skin from the inside out to create healthy looking and feeling skin. Suitable for tired, dull, or ageing skin, dark under eye circles, the neck, décolletage and hands. Sunekos is one of the latest innovations in non-surgical and natural skin rejuvenation

What is the downtime?

The downtime is very minimal. Following treatment, there may be redness and swelling, however this will usually subside within a few hours.

How many treatments will I need?

Sunekos typically involves a course of 3-4 sessions (spaced about 14 days apart), with the exact number depending on your individual needs and desired results, as determined at consultation.

How quickly will I see results?

You should see a marked improvement in skin appearance as the course progresses, with best results often visible towards completion.

Results can last around 6-12 months, varying for person to person depending on factors such as maintenance of a healthy lifestyle and good skincare routine.

Once the course in completed, we recommend an optional booster after 6 months and/or repeating the full course between 12-18 months.

What is the Procedure?

Sunekos is an injectable treatment so we start by hygienically cleansing the target area and applying a topical anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort.

Using a fine needle or cannula to make a series of superficial injections, the Sunekos solution is carefully injected into the mid-layer of the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Sunekos typically involves a course of 3-4 sessions (spaced about 14 days apart), with the exact number depending on your individual needs and desired results, as determined at consultation.

  • Stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the skin
  • Improves skin tone, textures, hydration and radiance
  • Strengthens the skin healthier and provides more ‘bounce'
  • Can be used on the neck and chest as well as the face to address skin quality

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides contain codes similar to sections your DNA.  They are a watery gel made up of short nucleotide sequences.

Their primary job is to activate the body’s cells (mostly myofibroblasts aka skin cells) and therefore increase collagen production, hyaluronic acid, elastin, deep fat deposition, and new vessel formation. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect. This method encourages the generation of desirable organic end-products. This is distinct from many injectable modalities in aesthetics that deliver the end-product into your body. It is administered via injection.

Who is this treatment for?

People with under eye hollows, dark circles, general poor skin quality, thin skin, lax skin or rosacea can all benefit from this treatment. For some, this treatment can work well in combination with Hyaluronic Acid fillers.

Any complications to be aware of?

If you are diabetic or consume a lot of caffeine it can inhibit the impact of the treatment and so you may need more than the recommended sessions.

Final note/ little tip:

If you are undergoing under eye treatment then we suggest bringing a pair of sunglasses so you can conceal any initial swelling or bruising.

Procedure Information

If used in the under eye area there is initial swelling, which should not be confused for results. Because this treatment stimulates your own body to repair itself, best results are typically seen 60 days after the initial treatment.

How long does it last?

Results typically last 6-9 months, but may be longer or shorter in certain individuals.

Any downsides?

Because it is a biostimulator (stimulates your own cells) it means that results can vary more widely. For most, the natural, reduced-risk option is appealing, but it does come with a commitment to a more extensive treatment protocol. This usually means an initial 3-4 visits over a period of 8-16 weeks. This transitions to once every 6-9 months for maintenance. Following each under eye treatment, you can expect to be considerably swollen for 3-5 days.  This is not usually the case with facial or body treatments.

So which is right for you?

While Profhilo, Sunekos, and Polynucleotides all rejuvenate the skin from within, they each work in unique ways and are best suited to different concerns. Profhilo is a pure hyaluronic acid injectable designed to deeply hydrate and improve skin elasticity, making it ideal for crepey, dull, or dehydrated skin. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids to stimulate collagen and elastin production at a cellular level, promoting long-term skin regeneration. It's particularly effective for delicate or sensitive areas like under the eyes and is a great option for those seeking a natural, gradual improvement in skin quality. Polynucleotides go one step further in terms of skin healing and regeneration, using DNA fragments to support deep tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and improve skin resilience over time — especially beneficial for issues like acne scarring, redness, or under-eye hollowness. All three treatments have regenerative effects, but the best choice depends on your skin type, concerns, and treatment goals.
