How It Works

RF microneedling combines controlled microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate the skin’s natural repair and remodelling processes.

At Pro Skin, we use Pollogen RF-Assisted Glide technology. Ultra-fine micro-pins deliver controlled radiofrequency energy into the skin while moving smoothly across the treatment area, allowing us to create targeted thermal stimulation with less unnecessary mechanical trauma.

Treatment is focused within the skin rather than the deeper subcutaneous tissues, with depths typically between 0.6–1 mm. This allows us to target collagen and elastin production while taking a considered approach to preserving facial volume.

Over the weeks following treatment, new collagen and elastin are produced as the skin remodels. Improvements develop gradually, helping the skin become firmer, smoother and more refined over time.

After Your Treatment

Some redness, warmth and mild swelling are normal following RF microneedling and typically settle over the following 24–72 hours.

Keep the skin well hydrated and protected with a high-SPF sunscreen while it recovers. Avoid excessive sun exposure and active skincare ingredients for approximately 5–7 days, or according to the personalised aftercare advice given following your treatment.
